sweater weather tag

Hey Guys,
I'm going to do the sweater weather tag, this is quite an old tag but i figured I would do it anyway:)

1. Favorite candle scent?

I really like fruity candles all year round however a specific Autumn scent would probably be a sandalwood candle.

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?

I really despise hot drinks, I know weird right! The sensation of them makes me feel sick which is a pain in the butt for the colder seasons. If I had to choose, flavour wise it would be coffee.

3. What's the best fall memory you have?

I remember going to my Nan's house and diving in the huge leaf piles she had made for us!

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?

Dark Lips because I think they look really autumnal, especially the berry tones.

5. Best fragrance for fall?

I don't really have a specific fragrance for autumn, but my favourite scent at the moment is Love spell from Victoria secret.

6. Favorite Thanksgiving food?

In England we don't seem to celebrate thanksgiving, I wish we did though!

7. What is autumn weather like where you live?

Its very rainy and cold but I love that type of weather.

8. Most worn sweater?

Probably one from next (its cream with jewels on the collar)

9. Must-have nail polish this fall?

My last blog post was about autumn nails so if you want you can check that out.

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?

Probably jumping in leaf piles!

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?

Skinny jeans, especially topshop joni ones!

12. Combat boots or Uggs?

style wise, combat boots but for comfort definitely uggs.

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?

No I don't think it is but its not that much of a hype here.

14. Favorite fall TV show?

Keeping up with the Kardashians is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine :)

15. What songs really gets you into the fall spirit?

coincidentally the sweater weather song by the neighbourhood.

Thanks for reading feel free to answer the questions!

Autumn/fall nails!

Hey Guys,
Sorry I didn't post last week I was busy studying for an exam :(
Anyway this week I'm going to talk about Autumn/fall nail polish because I love painting my nails with cool designs and I have recently been wearing these colours!

In Autumn I usually go for quite dark and neutral colours here are some examples.

These colours are really cute for special occasions such as parties and whenever you just want to make your nails a bit more interesting.
The purple nails are perfect for a purple or blue themed outfit as they give a really nice galaxy like effect and looks really elegant.
The black ones are really simple so adding a bit of sparkle makes them perfect for any occasion.
The purple and white nails are cute and so easy to do the one nail with the chevron design makes it more interesting and looks a lot harder to do than it actually is, all you need to do is paint the base purple and then apply tape once dry in a chevron design, once painted peel off the tape and you'll have perfectly painted nails.

These are the more pale colours of my autumn faves, the nude one is quite discrete but looks perfect and quite professional if you are going for that type of style, the grey ones also look quite professional and are perfect for going out or wearing everyday if you wanted to change them into an evening look without removing the nail polish, which will damage your nails, you can add some glitter or add a pattern like the above styles.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post comment below your favourite colours for autumn!

Small Forever 21 haul!

Hey guys,
As most of you probably know I am obsessed with forever 21, so I thought I would show you my latest purchase!

The first item I bought was this chunky knit beanie for £5. A beanie is a key accessory in autumn and winter as it keeps you warm and looks really nice. It goes with any outfit and achieves a nice casual look.

Next I bought some black skinny jeans for £7, I bought these because they go with everything and many look books that I am planning, feature black jeans and they are great for this season.

Next I bought this plaid top with three quarter length sleeves for £15. I think this top is really cute and would look great with the black jeans I just spoke about. Once again I was looking for some casual outfits for going the cinema and going shopping because I have enough formal clothes!

Then I bought this decorative headband for £2.50 which is an amazing price! It is a Gold chain with a white leather type material treaded through. I thought this would look gorgeous on a daily basis to keep the hair out of my face, and I could also incorporate it into an up do.

Then I bought this jumper in two colours because I have no jumpers at the the moment (WHAT!) They were £7.50 each which is a reasonable price for a jumper. I like these because I usually go for the lightweight jumpers rather than the thick ones because the thick jumpers really don't suit me haha. As will wear these with my black jeans and I will probably roll up the sleeves to make it look more casual again, and a cute statement necklace would pull the whole look together.

Thanks for reading, I'm sorry about the quality of the pictures but I had to get them off the website and they where very small.

Comment below if you have any cute outfit ideas incorporating the items I bought.
Thanks

Birchbox October 2014 review

Hey Guys
This is my second instalment of birchbox, a monthly beauty subscription box!
This month was a breast cancer awareness theme and came with a cute little pink zip up bag perfect for you to put any essentials in and throw in your hand bag.

This is a pen which when you put the lid on it looks like a lipstick, it is really quirky and a fun twist on a necessary product.

This mask is amazing and I am defiantly going to purchase the full size product as it is very clarifying  but it doesn't dry out your skin, I really have nothing bad to say about this mask.

This is a very nice hair product, you apply it to towel dried hair and it really helps smooth any fly-aways. Another great thing is that I received a good size sample product and I love the packaging!

This is genuinely the nicest smelling lip balm I have ever had, I usually go for the fruity smells but this has quite a chocolaty and vanilla smell and it moisturises very well and leaves a subtle tint to your lips.

I have only used this once so I don't have much of an opinion but I applied this after waxing my legs and my legs where a lot less irritated than usual so it worked great for just one use.

I also received a nail polish from the company Lollipops in a typical 'London bus' red colour it had a brat formula and only needed two coats as it went on quite opaque, however I can't find a picture of it anywhere and my camera is broken :(

Thanks for reading! I am going to start posting on a Monday instead of a Tuesday because I currently have netball training and I volunteer a children's activity group.

September Birchbox 2014!

Hey Guys,
I recently decided to purchase birchbox which is a monthly subscription service providing luxury beauty samples. Here is what I got in mine.

The theme of this box is happy days, I love the design of the box from the colour to the cute little pictures on the front of the box.
All of the products come in a little fabric bag which is great as you can store the products in there, or anything for that matter.
The first product I received was a bag of urban fruit which is dried fruit, I received the pineapple one. It is really great for a quick snack and is a good replacement for a bag of crisps if you are wanting to be a bit healthier, it also tastes great too.
Next I received a sample size of the agave hair oil although it was amazing and made my hair really soft I feel they could have given us a larger sample as I only got two uses out of it  but I do have very thick hair so I do have to use more than most people.
Next I got a lip gloss from model co in the shade Morocco this lip gloss is very pigmented and very long-lasting and has an amazing moisturising formula and I would highly recommend this product and I would probably purchase the full size if I didn't have a trillion lip products already!
This is amazing, the egg shaped sponge ensures a smooth finish to your foundation and looks very natural. Along with the sponge you also receive a bar of soap specially for cleaning the beauty blender. At a retail price of £26 you can't really go wrong.
When I saw that birchbox had included a product from benefit I was extremely surprised because of the cost of their products, this is a really refreshing eye cream and it did manage to fade the dark circles under my eyes from late night you-tubing!
The final product was a face and body scrub. I have only used it on my face so far but I was a bit reluctant to use this because I have sensitive skin and face scrubs tend to make my skin really dry but this scrub was amazing, it didn't aggravate my skin at all in fact my skin was really soft after using it.

At only £10 a month birchbox is a perfect little treat if you like trying new high end products and you easily get your moneys worth.

I hope you enjoyed reading and I can't wait to see what I get next Month!

Autumn fashion

Hey Guys,
This is going to be my personal favourites for autumn/fall, hope you enjoy!

My favourite type of shoes for autumn are combat boots, to be honest I even wear these in summer sometimes because I love them that much!
My all time favourite are Steve madden boots but for £100 they are a bit of an investment, however you can get ones that look exactly the same from forever21 for around £25 which is a bargain if you ask me!

This is a great piece if you live in a colder country but still want to look stylish, this looks perfect with some gold accessories and a pair of leggings.

I love these black ripped jeans because they are so versatile and go with anything you want, if you live in a hot country then you can wear shorts of the same style.

Although this is a summery outfit if you live in a hot country you may still be able to wear this but if not you could wear jeans with this. My favourite part of this outfit is the slouchy cardigan as it pulls the outfit together and makes it more autumn appropriate.
I love this outfit as a whole from the hat to the dress to the socks. I thing the dress is perfect for this look and the the knee high socks are great for those chilly autumn days, I think the hat adds more of a formal twist to the look and is perfect for covering up any bad hair days!

Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed feel free to comment your opinions and any suggestions as they are all really appreciated,
